Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for its Roy, UT Sentinel program. You will lead electrical design planning, coordinate PDP activities across stress, EEE, and test teams, and perform CPLM Tech Lead reviews, ensuring on-time delivery while coordinating with multiple engineers.

We expect a strong engineering background with DoD Secret clearance, leadership experience, and a proven track record in PDP design and system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field.
• 5 years of relevant EE experience, or 3 years with a Master’s, or 0 with a PhD.
• Clear DoD Secret clearance/current within 6 years.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating PDP work.
• Familiarity with PDP design to meet system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning and design process guidance for electrical/equipment.
• Manage PDP schedule and performance; coordinate with stress, EEE, design and test teams.
• Perform CPLM Tech Lead reviews on PDPs; coordinate with multiple design engineers.
• Develop strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders; demonstrate ethics and innovation.
