Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly qualified engineer for the US-AZ Tucson site to support RF/analog/digital circuit design on complex assemblies. You will collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering teams to drive testing, production, and integration efforts.

What You Will Do

Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.

Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.

What You Will Learn

Knowledge of electrical components, circuit card assemblies, RF, analog, digital and/or mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis.

RTX Core Certification and Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority training.

Qualifications

Must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis and/or digital signal processing.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
  • Experience leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue resolution efforts.

Preferred

  • Root‑cause corrective action investigations.
  • Electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic subsystem, including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test, and supplier support.
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with missile communication transceivers, data links, inertial measurement units, and GPS receiver subsystems.
  • Subsystems integration and test, post‑test flight analysis, statistical process control methods, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementation of engineering change notices.
  • Self‑starter capable of working independently or with a small technical team.
Benefits

Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.

Work schedule: 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Relocation eligibility: This position is eligible for relocation.
