Job summary

SR2 is seeking a Lead/Principal Electrical Engineer to drive technical ownership of large, complex electrical infrastructure within power and critical infrastructure domains. Based in Austin, TX, with a base salary range of $180k–$240k plus bonus, the role collaborates across utility-scale generation, substations, grid interconnection, data center power, and mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate has senior/lead experience, PE is desirable, and a track record of leading engineers, EPCs,

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
• Broad exposure to utility-scale generation, substations, transmission, or data center power.
• Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and oversee EPCs/consultants.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of major electrical systems and projects.
• Lead engineering teams, consultants, and EPCs through development to handover.
• Perform design reviews and engineering assurance across disciplines.
• Coordinate construction, commissioning, and energization activities.
