Job summary

RTX Interiors Services & Specialty Products is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer in Medley, FL to lead aircraft seating electrical systems. You will drive design, integration, and certification efforts across seats and in-flight entertainment.

You will collaborate with aircraft manufacturers and internal teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• U.S. Person required – access to ITAR or 600/500-series EAR information or hardware
• Experience leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional engineering groups to achieve program objectives

Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical lead on aircraft seating programs from kickoff through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer and internal requirements
• Develop, integrate, and validate electrical systems including seat actuation, lighting, comfort, and In-Flight Entertainment systems
• Create and maintain system block diagrams, pin-to-pin wiring diagrams, harness drawings, 3D electrical routing models and 2D electrical installation drawings
• Support certification activities for OEM and regulatory compliance (Airbus, Boeing, FAA, EASA)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into complex seat assemblies
• Participate in prototype and production seat builds, design reviews, and product lifecycle support
