Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant electronics/hardware product development experience at senior/principal level.
• Strong experience with schematic capture, PCB/PCBA design and layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and electronics design of complex new products from requirements through production.
• Design electronic assemblies, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB/PCBA design, layout, and routing.
• Develop embedded power supplies, power-management solutions, processors, sensors, and communications technologies.
• Design and validate high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., MIPI, LVDS).
• Build, test, troubleshoot, and debug prototypes and production-intent hardware.
• Perform hands-on board-level testing, including probing, soldering, component replacement, and prototype modifications.
• Analyze test data and use findings to identify issues and improve designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, embedded software, systems, and industrial design engineers on trade-offs.
• Develop specifications, ICDs, BOMs, test procedures, and engineering documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and DFx activities for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with external suppliers and PCBA manufacturing partners.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on electronics decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards and best practices.
• Lead work packages and coordinate activities across teams, contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
