Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking an Electrical & Controls Principal Engineer (Operational Technology) to lead high‑complexity automation, controls, and infrastructure projects across manufacturing sites. You will shape OT strategies, deliver scalable engineering solutions, and partner with cross-functional teams and external partners.

This role blends hands‑on technical expertise with strategic leadership, influencing technology direction and engineering standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of engineering/operations experience in manufacturing.
• Expertise in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Proven ability to manage capital and expense budgets.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation control systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, NFPA standards.
• Experience with SCADA, MES, Historian, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls engineering activities across all phases of capital projects.
• Develop functional requirements, specs, schedules and deliverables.
• Manage scope, budget, timelines and resources for project objectives.
• Provide leadership in electrical design, control systems and automation platforms.
• Support startup activities, troubleshooting and system integration.
• Ensure safety and compliance with engineering standards.
