Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with focus on electric motors and advanced controls.
• Minimum 5 years' industrial experience in a relevant role.
• Deep expertise in electromagnetic design, modeling, and optimization of low-voltage radial and axial brushless motors.
• Familiarity with motor manufacturing processes and sub-assemblies.
• Experience using motor/system modeling tools such as Ansys Maxwell, Motor-CAD, or equivalent software.
• Model-based algorithm development experience with MATLAB/Simulink or Ansys Twin Builder is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced motor technology development through modeling, simulation, and prototyping.
• Evaluate alternative motor technologies and optimize designs.
• Build proof-of-concept prototypes and conduct testing with evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with motor control, hardware, and battery teams to optimize electrical system performance.
• Partner with external suppliers, universities, and research institutes to strengthen the technology pipeline.
