Job summary

FGMA, an employee-owned architecture and interior design firm based in Texas, seeks a Principal, Business Development to expand our PK–12 market presence in Fort Worth. You will cultivate school district relationships, engage stakeholders, and drive opportunities with senior leadership.

You will collaborate with Managing Directors and regional marketing to strengthen FGMA's pipeline, elevate our brand, and support long-term client partnerships. Travel and cross-market coordination are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 8–10 years in business development, client relationships, educational leadership, or related leadership roles.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with school districts or public sector stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with school district leaders and education stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new PK-12 opportunities aligned with FGMA's growth.
• Collaborate with Directors and marketing to plan client strategies and pursuits.
• Research market trends and client needs to support growth initiatives.
• Represent FGMA at meetings, conferences, and industry events to raise visibility.
• Work with Marketing on proposals, campaigns, and firm positioning.
• Use CRM (Vantagepoint) to track activities and manage pipelines.
• Maintain deep knowledge of FGMA's services and differentiators.
