Job summary

Bose Corporation seeks a Senior DSP Engineer to develop, port, optimize, and validate audio signal processing software for embedded platforms. You will own substantial DSP components from reference models to production deployment, translating MATLAB/Simulink models into robust C/C++ components for reuse across Bose audio products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of DSP or embedded software development with hands-on DSP work.
• Strong DSP fundamentals and real-time signal processing experience.
• Strong C/C++ skills and MATLAB/Simulink for analysis and validation.
• Experience with fixed-point/floating-point algorithms and hardware trade-offs.
• Hands-on with Cadence HiFi, ARM, or Qualcomm Hexagon architectures.

Responsibilities

• Implement, port, and validate DSP algorithms for embedded audio apps in production-quality C/C++.
• Own DSP components from planning through integration, verification, and release.
• Develop modular processing blocks and integrate into audio chains and frameworks.
• Apply fixed-point and floating-point techniques, validate against reference models.
• Profile and optimize compute, memory, latency on DSP/embedded targets.
• Build unit tests, test vectors, and automated regression tests; document behavior.
• Debug algorithm and system issues on reference and product hardware.
• Collaborate with firmware on interfaces, builds, and integration dependencies.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers.
