Collins Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineer to advance their Cert DevOps pipelines and software lifecycle integrations. You will collaborate across teams to deploy new capabilities and optimize existing automation, while staying aligned with program goals and certifications.

Ideal candidates bring strong DevSecOps experience, scripting skills, and a track record of clear technical communication. This U.S.-based role offers comprehensive benefits and relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience through all software lifecycle phases, including certification.
• Experience with DevSecOps.
• Proficient with GitLab, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with scripting languages: Python, Robot, Lava.
• Experience with SW Harness Testing and Adaption tools (PySMART, Rapitest, etc.).
• Experience with AI technology for automation enhancements.
• Excellent technical writing for solution adopters.

Responsibilities

• Implement new capabilities for SW Cert DevOps and Common Test pipelines.
• Optimize existing Software Solution capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams to onboard Cert DevOps technology quickly.
• Be a self-starter, multitask, and handle unplanned events.
• Maintain clear records and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with engineering peers, leadership and customers.
• Apply problem solving, decision making, and teamwork to support the team mission.
