Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. in multiple U.S. locations seeks a Software / DevOps Engineer Principal to lead containerized application delivery on Red Hat OpenShift, focusing on packaging, image creation, and automated pipelines.

You will collaborate with platform teams to implement secure CI/CD, applying Kubernetes concepts from an application perspective and leveraging Git workflows; based in Dallas, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Strongsville-OH or Birmingham.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of industry experience.
Experience deploying applications on Red Hat OpenShift.
Strong container image creation experience.
Experience with Spark, Trino, Airflow, Iceberg.
Proficient in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts from an application perspective.
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Experience with Helm or templated Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
