Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Principal to join the Data and Automation organization. Based in Dallas, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Strongsville-OH or Birmingham, you will focus on containerization, image creation, and automated delivery pipelines for OpenShift environments.

You will work with platform teams to ensure secure, automated delivery of applications, leveraging containerization, CI/CD and modern development workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering or DevOps.
• Experience deploying or running applications on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong experience with container image creation and management.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts from an application perspective.

Responsibilities

• Aligns business strategy with software solutions.
• Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs; Oversees documentation.
• Leads complex problem solving and provides technical guidance to colleagues.
