Southland Industries, a leading MEP contractor, is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide design and engineering on complex projects. You will act as the design expert in meetings, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include managing a team of engineers, performing advanced calculations, site inspections, and delivering project goals.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of people management.
• Expert knowledge of design engineering concepts across HVAC, plumbing and related systems.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead an engineering group and public speaking.

Mansioni

• Provide design and engineering guidance on projects and attend meetings as the design expert.
• Manage conceptual design and prepare preliminary redline layouts for estimating; perform complex calculations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction documents and resolve design issues.
• Lead project team meetings as design expert and ensure adherence to standards.
• Oversee a group of engineers, including staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
