We are looking for an innovative and detail-orientedPrincipal Design Engineerwith experience in various design aspects of RF front-end modules, including circuit design, simulation, layout, validation, data analysis and reporting. In this role, you will be directly responsible for integrating multiple die and surface mount devices into multi-layer laminate. This position requires coordinating and collaborating with cross functional team members from conception through production to develop high volume multi-chip module, as well as great communication skills and attention to detail to pull together all inputs from the team. The appropriate candidate will complete design, simulation, design rule verification, and ordering to ensure laminate meets schedule and product specifications.

What you'll do:

• Module level design and integration of PAs, LNAs, switches and filters into highly compact multi-chip modules (MCM)
• Characterization, verification, and debugging of the design through lab measurements.
• Conduct peer reviews of designs, including expected and/or actual results
• Write regular updates on design/evaluation status
• Execute to aggressive schedules while working collaboratively with the team

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering (MSEE or PhD preferred)
• 10+ years in RF design
• Possess a thorough understanding of ADS and EM tools such as HFSS and Momentum and how they apply to laminate-based modules.
• Understanding of 4G and 5G cellular protocols and frequency bands of operation
• Strong background in various linear and nonlinear simulation techniques and simulators
• Capable of refining simulation results to achieve excellent predictability with the goal of first pass success.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
