Intuit is building a knowledge and agentic intelligence foundation for Customer Success. The Principal Data Scientist will define and own the knowledge architecture and governance for the IC data platform and agentic intelligence layer, guide a technical team, and contribute hands-on to building and prototyping the platform.

You will own the architecture, set patterns for retrieval and reasoning, govern data quality and provenance, and drive build-versus-buy decisions while delivering impactful

Responsabilités

• Own the agentic knowledge architecture; define how ICs knowledge is modeled, stored, connected and served to agents and people.
• Architect the agentic intelligence layer; patterns for retrieval, reasoning over and acting on knowledge.
• Set the semantic layer strategy; express metrics and definitions once across dashboards, data agents and AI experiences.
• Lead data and knowledge governance; ensure quality, freshness, provenance, access control and trustworthy sources.
• Make key architecture and tooling decisions; evaluate graph stores, vector stores, semantic tools, agent frameworks and document tradeoffs.
• Build hands-on; prototype reference implementations, write production-grade code, review designs and pull requests.
• Balance now and next; deliver this quarter while moving toward long-term architecture and avoiding technical debt.
• Define how we measure quality; set evaluation frameworks for coverage, retrieval quality, groundedness and reliability.
• Translate between business and technology; align with segment data leaders, business, engineering and operations.
• Guide and grow the team; mentor data scientists and engineers, raise the technical bar.
