Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Principal Data Scientist - Advanced Analytics to shape experimentation, measurement, and AI-enabled analytics across marketing and product lines in the United States. You will drive causal inference, lift analysis, and large-scale modeling while collaborating with executives and cross-functional teams.

You will build scalable data pipelines, mentor other data scientists, and define technical standards to advance data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
• PhD strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive data science/ML experience with large-scale data environments.
• Successful leadership or contribution as a senior technical expert in experimentation & analytics.
• Deep expertise in marketing experimentation including A/B/multivariate testing and lift measurement.
• Strong knowledge of causal inference, hypothesis testing, and power analysis.
• Experience deploying MMM, attribution, and uplift models.
• Advanced Python, Spark/PySpark, and SQL skills.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and agent-based frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, execution, and analysis of marketing/product experiments (A/B, multivariate, geographic, holdout).
• Define and manage the experimentation roadmap, hypotheses, and success metrics.
• Develop methodologies for lift measurement and incrementality testing.
• Establish governance and best practices for statistical rigor and actionable insights.
• Design, build, validate, and deploy ML and Generative AI solutions on large datasets.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to improve business performance.
• Lead hands-on model development, testing, and production deployment with standards.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines ensuring data quality.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks for innovation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate challenges into hypotheses and analyses.
• Communicate complex findings to executives and stakeholders.
• Mentor data scientists and champion a data-driven culture.
