Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Principal Data Engineering Solutions Specialist to drive ingestion workloads sales and accelerate adoption of its Data Engineering and Data Lake capabilities. This strategic role partners with the field organization to win, execute and scale customer engagements.

The role requires deep experience selling technical data solutions to enterprises, excellent executive communication, and a collaborative approach across Sales, Professional Services, Marketing and Product to exceed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 6 years in sales of technical solutions to enterprises.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.
• Experience managing complex sales processes and aligning with executive stakeholders.
• Ability to independently develop and close new client relationships.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with senior-level stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Lakehouse, ingestion and transformation tech.

Responsibilities

• Achieve pipeline generation and revenue targets for allocated accounts/territory.
• Execute tailored sales plays to capture market opportunities in Data Engineering.
• Engage with customers to understand Data Engineering needs and inform roadmap.
• Provide executive-level insights and guide strategic discussions on Snowflake capabilities.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Field CTOs to drive engagements.
• Track and report sales performance using data-driven insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align sales with GTM plans.
• Drive forecast and exceed revenue targets on consumption.
