Moderna is seeking a Principal Data Architect to design and steward the enterprise data architecture, making data usable, governable, and AI-ready at scale. You will define integration patterns, data models, metadata standards, and templates to enable real-time data flows across OT and IT.

As a senior contributor, mentor engineers, shape standards, and guide cloud data platform decisions for warehousing, transformation, and cataloging.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture.
• 4+ years in regulated environments (pharma/biotech/manufacturing).
• Experience integrating real-time data from control systems and OT/IT.
• Ability to design architectures spanning operational and analytical platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain target-state data architecture across CMC domains.
• Design real-time integration patterns connecting control systems with enterprise platforms.
• Establish repeatable patterns for ingesting, transforming, and serving data from heterogeneous CMC systems.
• Define and enforce data standards, including naming, lineage, and metadata.
• Design data models and semantic structures for analytics and AI use cases.
• Codify architecture patterns as templates and reference implementations.
• Develop vocabularies, glossaries, and semantic models for consistency.
• Inform cloud data platform decisions for warehousing, orchestration, and catalog tooling.
• Mentor engineers and data product owners to raise architectural fluency.
