Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal, Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to build the analytical foundation for enterprise planning, performance management, and strategic decisions. You will define metrics, collect data, build models and dashboards, and benchmark against external standards to inform executive recommendations.

Collaborate across Finance, Enterprise Systems, and business partners to ensure data quality, governance, and transparent decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in enterprise business operations, data analytics, data science, strategic finance, or related quantitative field.
• Experience using data and external benchmarks to diagnose performance and develop strategic recommendations.
• Advanced analytical proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling, or visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python.
• Proficient in using AI to drive automated reporting and dashboarding.
• Experience presenting executive-ready analyses and concise recommendations.
• Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, or workforce metrics.
• Ability to pair analytical depth with strategic judgement and communicate with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define the data, analytics, and benchmarking roadmap for enterprise planning and transformation.
• Establish consistent metric definitions, calculation logic, data sources, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Systems, Finance, and other teams to collect and reconcile data.
• Conduct benchmarking to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Build analytical models, dashboards, and scorecards for enterprise priorities and investments.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and visualizations.
• Work with Finance and owners to resolve data quality issues and strengthen governance.
• Lead high-priority ad-hoc analyses and deliver defensible recommendations.
