Job Description:

What You'll Do

Responsible for extracting, managing, and analyzing data within Discover. Must conduct research on business data to communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Should be knowledgeable on analytical tools to set up processes and systems that make working with data more efficient within the company.

How You'll Do It

  • Responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data from multiple sources, and providing recommendations to management.
  • Partners with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs.
  • Over time, coach and guide less experienced analytical professionals in statistical concepts, principles, and tools.
  • Supports the development of standard data analyses, reports, and dashboards.
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge in analytical tools.
  • Design and manage Network Policy intake, workflow and reporting processes.
  • Design and lead rule waiver tracking and associated reporting tools and processes.
  • Design and manage Network Policy performance tracking and reporting.
  • Represent Network Policy and engage autonomously with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications You'll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years of data analysis experience and relevant toolsets, or related.
  • In lieu of education, 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Knowledge or experience in the Payments industry preferred.
  • Experience with Excel and Data Visualization tools.
