Job summary

Astrion seeks a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA to lead RMF-driven security documentation and A&A activities. You will oversee RMF implementation, ATO processes, and continuous monitoring, working with DoD and Air Force stakeholders.

The role requires Top Secret clearance, CISSP certification, and extensive DoD experience in cybersecurity across system and network domains.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Top Secret clearance must be maintainable.
• BS/BA degree required with DoD background.
• 20 years in the field, 10+ in DoD, with strong RMF and vulnerability mgmt experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF documentation and security planning per DoD standards.
• Support A&A activities and ensure artifact quality/compliance.
• Manage RMF implementation, ATO/ATC, and continuous monitoring.
• Provide leadership in cybersecurity across system/network domains.
