Job summary

Astrion seeks a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer for Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The role entails leading RMF activities, system security documentation, A&A support, and JSF security posture across C2ISR domains. Top Secret clearance and CISSP are required; 20+ years in DoD field with 10+ in DoD essential.

Salary ranges between $170,000 and $185,000 per year, with standard benefits and classification for a full-time staff. Travel is limited; position is on-site at Hanscom AFB.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Clearance: Top Secret clearance required.
• Education: BS/BA Degree.
• Experience: 20 years in the discipline; 10 in DoD; RMF, vulnerability management, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and review of security documentation (SSP, PPP, Security Risk Analyses, OPSEC, CONOPS) per DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 8510.01, MIL-STD-1785, and AAF.
