Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to support AFLCMC/ESG at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. You will lead system security documentation and RMF activities across lifecycle stages, ensuring compliance with DoD frameworks and policy requirements.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI clearance, 20+ years in cyber, and strong experience with risk management, vulnerability assessments, and cross-domain solutions to protect critical DoD networks and missions.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen
• Clearance: Top-Secret
• Education: BS/BA in IT or related field
• Years of Experience: 20 years in the field, 10 in DoD

Responsibilities

• Lead development and review of system security documentation per DoD standards
• Support RMF A&A activities and artifacts
• Manage RMF implementation including ATO/ATC and continuous monitoring
• Administer and manage eMASS system packages
• Provide technical leadership in network and system security for DoD environments
• Assess vulnerabilities and propose mitigations including ACAS/STIGs
• Develop risk-based mitigation strategies for leadership
• Update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and contingency plans
• Coordinate RMF authorization with government and partners
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness training and awareness programs
