Who We're Looking For

This position is responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, and supporting security implementations. These implementations must adhere to high-quality standards with minimal defects. The role also involves mentoring team members and supporting management.

Some of What You'll Do

Scope of the Role:

• Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document security applications.

• Investigate and analyze requests for application security, interpreting requirements to develop complex applications.

• Write technical documentation for routines and applications.

• Construct, test, install, and maintain security applications.

• Develop maintainable, user-friendly security controls satisfying implementation requirements.

• Create and execute security test plans, analyze results, and revise applications accordingly.

• Plan acceptance testing and assist with the implementation of new security frameworks.

• Support internal users and support staff.

• Lead investigations of application incidents and assess resolution strategies.

• Apply resolutions to ensure error-free revisions.

• Manage configuration tasks.

• Collaborate with vendor partners and provide work direction when needed.

• Support management in achieving team goals within the operational framework.

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

• 8+ years of Cyber Security Engineering experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, Net+, CISSP, CISA, CFE, or GIAC.

• Strong platform knowledge (Tandem, UNIX, Windows, Network devices, Mainframes, SQL, Radius).

• Database knowledge (Access, Oracle, MySQL).
