Phipps Cameron is recruiting on behalf of an enterprise software company in San Francisco, on-site, for a Principal / Lead to join Corporate Development. You will work with senior leadership and heads of business units to assess and deliver strategic initiatives across the deal lifecycle.

You’ll model deals, run valuation, coordinate diligence, prepare executive materials, and help capital allocation. Expect high-visibility work on a global software platform.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate development, with a focus on software.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Strong analytical ability, including working with complex datasets.
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Assess opportunities: Evaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships and strategic initiatives using financial modeling, valuation and market analysis.
• Execute transactions: Play a central role in live M&A and investment processes, including coordinating diligence, running financial analysis and managing stakeholders.
• Generate insight: Build clear, data-led points of view that help leadership make decisions.
• Produce executive materials: Create presentations, investment cases and briefing papers for senior executives.
• Build the pipeline: Identify and track potential targets, follow industry trends and contribute to ongoing market mapping.
• Develop the team: Mentor and support junior team members.
