Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Contract Administrator Level 3 in El Segundo, CA, supporting F/A-18, F-5/T-38, and A-10 programs. This role is embedded in the program management team, focusing on contract negotiation, administration, and customer liaison, with a 9/80 schedule.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s and have FAR/DFAR knowledge, with travel up to 10% and active security clearances as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of professional work experience, or Master’s Degree with 3 years of professional work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements.
• Knowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials or Cost Plus Fixed Fee.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues.
• Monitor contract and program to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
• Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts per policy, law, and customer specs.
• Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage changes, and maintain historical information.
• Review terms and conditions to address financial terms, delivery, IP, termination provisions, indemnification, and risk mitigation.
