We are seeking a seasoned customer-facing consultant with established leadership skills to direct a diverse team of advisory and delivery talent. This role involves onsite, hands-on client engagement management, overseeing the day-to-day running of client engagements. The successful candidate will help teams flourish by guiding efforts, directing talents, and expanding knowledge and skills to deliver strategic solutions to clients. They are the on-the-ground leaders, directing work efforts, analyzing and reviewing proposals, providing solutions, and acting as liaisons between the client and delivery team.
The focus is primarily on successful delivery, but the role also involves exploring other client needs and working with the team to create proposals to address them. Principal Consultants maintain close contact with clients throughout the project duration.
Responsibilities- Client Delivery:
- Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops.
- Ensure customer expectations are appropriately set and managed.
- Lead technical project teams in delivering consulting services.
- Manage objectives, requirements, milestones, project status, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Break down problems, identify influencing factors, and determine approaches.
- Finalize and sign off on project deliverables.
- Present deliverables to client executive management.
- Business Development:
- Support pursuits through client discovery meetings, qualifying opportunities, and developing proposals.
- Represent services during sales cycles, including scoping, proposal development, and presentation to clients.
- Develop and promote relationships with customers and present solutions to C-Level executives.
- Practice Development & Thought Leadership:
- Enhance AHEAD Advisory services offerings, including consulting and deployment services.
- Act as a technology thought leader and evangelist.
- Maintain broad knowledge of current and future IT trends, technologies, and standards.
- Mentor team members.
Qualifications- Senior-level consulting experience.
- At least 15 years of experience overseeing transformative modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud, automation, platform engineering, agile adoption).
- Strong understanding of business measurement frameworks (e.g., OKRs).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC principles.
- At least five years of executive technology consulting experience.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
- Experience as a technology change agent.
- MBA is a plus.

The compensation range reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE), including base salary and target bonus, and varies based on experience, qualifications, and location.
