Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to accelerate and modernize Missile Defense System software in collaboration with the Next Generation Software Office. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering resilient cloud-based software for system-of-systems integration.

Required candidate will have a Secret clearance and a strong background in DoD programs, software libraries, and cloud architectures, with emphasis on HWIL testing and APIs/ICDs.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
• Masters degree in a STEM field with 12+ years on DoD programs.
• Experience designing software libraries and cloud architectures.
• Experience in hardware-in-the-loop and cloud-based testing.
• APIs, ICDs, and cloud/HWIL environment integration experience.
