Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC is seeking a senior software engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Next Generation Software Office. The role focuses on accelerating development, integration, and delivery of secure, resilient software for complex system-of-systems environments.

Responsibilities include engineering analysis for on-demand and cloud-based software, HWIL testing, API governance, and AI tooling capabilities, with leadership across teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required for access to sensitive DoD information.
• Master's degree in a STEM field with 12+ years missile defense or related DoD program experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and managing software libraries and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience in hardware-in-the-loop and cloud-based testing to support development and delivery.
• Experience in API/interface control document review and enabling software in Cloud/HWIL environments.
• Experience in AI development, tooling, and agentic operations.
• Ability to work independently, as a team member, or lead teams with engineering rigor.
