Job summary

Jabil seeks a Principal Product Engineer to guide the technical direction of Advanced Compute Platform NPI and manufacturing programs in a customer-focused, global setting. This role will partner with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure products meet stringent standards in Jabil’s manufacturing environments.

The position emphasizes leadership, deep architecture knowledge of server/storage/PCIe ecosystems, and collaboration across multiple sites, with travel up to 40% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required.
• 12+ years’ experience in a hardware product development environment with enterprise server, storage or networking products.
• Experience in multi-site and multi-cultural environments.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead product introductions and manufacturing performance for server and storage platforms.
• Drive cross-functional solution development across hardware, software, firmware and performance areas.
• Provide technical leadership and collaboration across customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Guide root-cause investigations to improve FPY, throughput and repair yield.
• Interface with customers and manufacturing sites to share best practices.
