Ladders is seeking a Principal Cloud Operations Manager to oversee the operational health of critical cloud and collaboration platforms in a large enterprise environment. The role will drive service reliability, strengthen incident response, and ensure smooth transitions from implementation into steady-state operations.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only. Compensation: $165,000 – $248,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise IT operations or managed services, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience managing an enterprise environment of at least 10,000 users.
• Proven leadership of a technical team of 50+ engineers or support personnel.
• Strong data-driven management using operational metrics for performance improvement.
• Direct experience with SLAs and KPIs and service delivery.
• Technical leadership in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Own operational performance across Azure, Microsoft 365, and related platforms.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of over 100 members.
• Establish a data-driven operational model using SLAs and KPIs.
• Serve as the primary operational leader, anticipating customer needs and risks.
• Manage multiple priorities including incidents, escalations, and service transitions.
• Oversee incident management practices and root cause analysis.
• Ensure operational readiness for new services and successful integration into production.

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Cloud Operations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This leader will oversee the operational health of critical cloud and collaboration platforms that support a large enterprise environment. The role will drive service reliability, strengthen incident response, and ensure smooth transitions from implementation into steady-state operations. The position also partners closely with technical teams and stakeholders to manage escalations, improve performance, and maintain a disciplined, metrics‑driven operating model.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $165,000 – $248,000 annually
