Deckers Brands in Goleta, California is seeking a Principal Cloud Network Engineer to shape our global connectivity across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments, setting the direction for secure, scalable networks.

You will lead governance, architecture reviews, and cross‑functional collaboration with security and engineering to deliver automation, Zero Trust, and policy‑driven networking that powers Deckers’ growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise networking, cloud networking, or related areas.
• Experience defining and owning enterprise networking strategy across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments.
• Designing scalable cloud network architectures, VPC structures, and secure shared‑services connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Architect and champion the enterprise networking strategy for secure, scalable connectivity.
• Set and enforce standards for network design, policies, and guardrails.
• Lead governance and architecture reviews across teams; ensure compliance and performance.
• Ensure resilience via AWS, OCI, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Provide technical leadership during critical incidents and bottleneck resolution.
• Define IaC, automation, and self‑service networking capabilities with Terraform and APIs.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive adoption of Zero Trust and governed models.
• Inspire collaboration and continuous improvement across the network organization.
