Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer Principal (MCCF-Healthcare Systems) to lead Azure cloud initiatives for VA environments in a remote capacity. You will design, implement, and operate scalable, secure cloud solutions across multiple VAEC domains, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create data flow diagrams, cloud diagrams, and high-level architecture diagrams for Cloud Infrastructure, applications, and systems.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation.
• Manage and control cloud permissions (RBAC) for each cloud application and service.
• Implement monitoring for cloud architecture and cloud-hosted systems to ensure performance and VA/Federal compliance.
• Provide Cloud support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments and Azure GovCloud scenarios.
