Buildertrend is hiring a Principal Cloud Engineer, AI Platform to shape the cloud foundation enabling AI agents to support customer workflows while protecting data, controlling costs and maintaining performance. You will own platform architecture and set standards so teams can move independently.
You have 10+ years in enterprise GCP, IaC, and production AI/ML workloads, experience with security, cost attribution, incident response, and a track record of improving platform resilience in a B2B
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience architecting enterprise-grade GCP environments.
- Experience with IAM perimeters, workload identity and private connectivity.
- Hands-on with AI/ML workloads in production and agent runtimes.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AI platform infrastructure including security controls.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines for safe deployments.
- Lead incident response and postmortems with blameless culture.
- Establish cost attribution, observability and governance for AI workloads.
