Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Principal Engineer for Infrastructure & Operations to lead cloud strategy and automation across public and private clouds. The role drives standards, mentors engineers, and partners with development teams to enable continuous delivery of new capabilities.

Responsibilities emphasize building repeatable automation, supporting CI/CD, and governance for secure, scalable infrastructure while acting as a senior escalation point and a key Center of Excellence contributor.

Qualifications

• Designing, building and managing Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
• Extensive cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP (public/private).
• I&O engineering with oversight of public and private cloud technologies.
• Automation scripting with BASH, Python and/or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Support CI/CD pipelines for Healthfirst applications.
• Onboard CI/CD Pipelines to development teams.
• Create SOPs for Healthfirst operations teams.
• Mentor engineers and lead in BCP/SRE practices.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve reliability.
