Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an experienced senior software architect in New York to design, implement, and deploy scalable cloud-based software and identity solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineers to create architectures using microservices, CI/CD and infrastructure as code, delivering high availability and strong customer outcomes.

You will lead, mentor, and influence tech decisions across teams, driving architecture improvements and producing concise technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of technical engineering experience.
• Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering projects to deliver software and infrastructure solutions that meet technical requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and influencing technology and policy decisions across the organization.
• Evaluate and apply technology strategies that align with business goals and system requirements.
• Develop innovative architecture and improvements that enhance existing systems and processes.
• Produce clear technical documentation and architecture descriptions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
