Job Description

The Principal Clinical Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for assisting with the execution of high-quality clinical studies and will focus on oversight and monitoring of investigational data to ensure compliance.

Job Duties

• Leads and drives the project team in planning, execution, and management of all operational aspects of large-scale, complex, and/or business-critical clinical trials, including data management activities, site corrective actions, study training, site qualifications, activations, and initiation processes.
• Manages partnership with CRO and external vendors, tracks development of project materials, owns and manages the clinical trial budget, and ensures audit readiness.
• Prepares study documents, manages risks, and provides clinical input to product development activities.
• Coordinates monitoring visits, mentors team members, and ensures compliance with regulations and protocols.

Required Job Qualifications

• Effective communication skills, high emotional intelligence, proficiency with relevant computer tools, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and industry practices.
• Experience in clinical trial coordination, prioritization, and multitasking, with a professional demeanor and ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and travel domestically up to 40% (some international travel up to 10%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical device trials, team management, advanced degrees in life sciences, and managing scope, budget, and timelines.
• Leadership experience, participation in product development teams, and expertise in complex clinical research guidelines.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position is $128,775.00 - $180,285.00/year, plus potential bonuses, based on experience and location.
