Job summary

Toole Design seeks a Principal Civil Engineer in Silver Spring, MD to lead complex transportation projects from concept through construction. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and project financials, mentoring engineers and guiding interdisciplinary teams while growing client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic.

Candidates should hold a Professional Engineer license and bring 15+ years’ transportation engineering experience, with strong leadership and a proven network among DOTs,

Qualifications

• Leadership of multi-discipline infrastructure design and construction teams.
• Experience managing complex transportation projects (15+ years).
• Strong networks in the Mid-Atlantic transportation market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex transportation projects.
• Own scope, schedule, budget and project financials as project manager.
• Mentor junior staff and guide civil design teams from concept through construction.
• Lead client meetings and help grow the business across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic.
