Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a senior software engineer to anchor engineering across the stack on a cross-border payments platform. You will set technical direction, design high-impact systems, and mentor engineers while still shipping production code on critical paths.

You will work with product, design, compliance and leadership to translate ambiguity into clear, shippable plans, drive modern deployment on AWS, and adopt AI tooling across the SDLC in a hands-on, IC-focused role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software across the full stack, end-to-end.
• Strong frontend proficiency with Vue.js, React, or equivalent.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# / .NET preferred; other OOP languages welcome.
• Frontend fundamentals: responsive design, accessibility, web performance, and internationalization.
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Deep system design and architecture experience, including microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Track record anchoring large cross-team technical efforts as an IC, setting technical direction.
• Experience mentoring engineers through design reviews and sponsorship, without managing them.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools and a clear POV on AI adoption across the SDLC.
• Production AWS experience, deployment, CI/CD, and native services (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).

Responsibilities

• Anchor the engineering on complex, high-impact problems across the stack.
• Set technical direction and own consistency and standards platform-wide.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and sponsorship, without managing them.
• Stay hands-on and ship production code on the critical path.
• Partner with product, design, compliance, and leadership to turn goals into clear plans.
• Lead modernization from legacy services into the modern stack with architects and leads.
