We value 10+ years in backend development, strong PostgreSQL/NoSQL knowledge, microservices experience, and mentoring across teams. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and security‑focused development is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building backend systems at scale in high‑performance teams.
• 5+ years with PostgreSQL relational databases.
• 5+ years with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch.
• 5+ years in microservices architectures.
• Strong Rust experience and design tradeoffs awareness.
• Experience integrating with third‑party devices/data providers.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into workflows.
• Proven mentoring of senior engineers.
• Ability to lead architectural decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, high‑performance Rust backends.
• Optimize architectures to improve speed and efficiency.
• Participate in all development lifecycle phases, including debugging.
• Stay current with Rust, security, and software design trends.
• Provide peer feedback and engage in our review cadence.
