Tricon Solutions is seeking a hands-on Principal Backend Engineer / Architect with deep Python expertise to design and develop sophisticated, configuration-driven computation engines for a next-generation enterprise finance technology product.

You will own backend architecture, implement scalable computation services, and collaborate with product, data engineering, and AI teams to deliver reliable, auditable, high-performance systems across multi-tenant deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/backend engineering experience in lead/principal roles.
• Strong Python backend development experience with frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
• Experience designing complex, production-grade backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Expert SQL skills with window functions and complex joins.
• Experience building computation engines, pricing, billing, risk analytics.
• Ability to own architecture while contributing to coding.

Responsabilités

• Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Python.
• Build complex computation engines involving financial calculations, business rules, analytical processing, and large datasets.
• Develop reusable, modular computation components and extensible backend frameworks.
• Translate complex business requirements into efficient, maintainable computation logic.
• Design distributed systems capable of handling enterprise-scale workloads.
• Remain actively involved in hands-on Python development, coding, and technical implementation.
