Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Tableau Agent Analytics team, owning the end-to-end architecture of backend services and full‑stack applications that enable enterprise customers to discover, simulate, and optimize their business processes at scale.

You will mentor engineers, drive security, reliability, and performance, and partner with Product and Customer Trust to deliver scalable, trusted software across multi‑AZ cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable backend services on Kubernetes in cloud
• Architect authentication/authorization integrations with identity providers and partner with Security on AppSec
• Define SLIs/SLOs, telemetry, and lead on-call rotations and runbooks
• Set test strategy across the pillar and approve cross-team test plans
• Provide coaching/mentorship to LMTS/SMTS and lead technical initiatives across teams
