Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Senior Wireless/Network Architect to design and implement advanced private 5G connectivity solutions, including private core and edge compute, for enterprise and public sector customers.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, translate business issues into architectures, develop proposals and roadmaps, and present outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
• Four or more years of experience in architecture design and implementation
• Direct experience working with wireless network integrators and RAN OEMs such as Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Celona, Solid, and Airspan
• Experience project managing complex solutions through implementation
• Knowledge of 5G
• Knowledge of LTE and IoT
• IP data networking experience, including routing, switching, load balancing, and high availability
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred as an additional qualification
• Two or more years of experience developing and implementing business strategies preferred
• Two or more years of experience incorporating design thinking into problem solving preferred
• Software development experience using Shell, Expect, Perl, Python, or JavaScript preferred
• Certifications such as Award Solutions – RR Solutions coursework, CCIE, CISSP, CCENT, CompTIA Network+, Wireless Recognized Certifications, OEM certifications, CompTIA Security+, or cloud provider certifications preferred
• Experience with Software Defined Networking and Virtual Network Services preferred
• Technical expertise with Cisco, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Fortinet, or similar technology companies preferred
