Pinnacle Group, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Wireless Network Solution Architect to lead design and deployment of private wireless networks including Private 5G, CBRS, DAS, LTE, and Wi‑Fi for enterprise and industrial customers.

You will serve as technical lead, developing end-to-end architectures, coordinating with engineering, sales, product, and operations, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure security and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise wireless networks.
  • Strong experience with Private LTE/Private 5G network architecture and deployment.
  • Experience designing and supporting CBRS wireless solutions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies and wireless network optimization.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, multicast, and network security.
  • Experience working with enterprise wireless infrastructure and multi-vendor networking solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across RF, transport, and enterprise networking.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting technical solutions to customers and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect enterprise wireless solutions supporting Private 5G, CBRS, LTE, DAS, Wi‑Fi, and hybrid wireless network deployments.
  • Develop high-level and low-level network designs, engineering documentation, implementation plans, and technical solution recommendations.
  • Lead Radio Access Network (RAN) engineering activities including coverage planning, capacity analysis, RF optimization, interference mitigation, and performance tuning.
  • Design and optimize CBRS deployments, spectrum utilization, SAS integration, and enterprise wireless connectivity.
  • Support Distributed Antenna System (DAS) design, deployment, optimization, and integration with existing carrier infrastructure.
  • Perform wireless network assessments, site evaluations, capacity planning, and performance analysis for enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures.
  • Evaluate and integrate multi-vendor wireless solutions including Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Cisco, Cradlepoint, Celona, JMA, CommScope, and others.
  • Design secure enterprise networking solutions integrating wireless infrastructure with routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, VPN, cloud connectivity, and existing LAN/WAN environments.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues involving RF performance, mobility, transport, backhaul, and core network connectivity.
  • Develop automation solutions to improve deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and operational efficiency using scripting and network automation tools.
  • Support proof‑of‑concept (POC) testing, lab validation, and production implementation activities.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery, mentoring junior engineers and serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Create and maintain engineering standards, solution documentation, implementation guides, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, operations, and product teams to continuously improve enterprise wireless offerings.

Position Overview

The Client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer / Lead Engineer / Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Wireless Solutions team supporting next-generation private wireless network deployments. This role is responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of advanced wireless networking solutions including Private 5G, CBRS, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and Radio Access Networks (RAN) for enterprise and industrial customers.

The ideal candidate will serve as the technical lead for customer engagements, partnering with engineering, sales, product management, and operations teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing wireless solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing end‑to‑end network architectures while ensuring solutions meet customer requirements, industry standards, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
