Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Principal Analytics Engineer to shape and execute the analytics strategy across the Clinical Solutions portfolio. You will lead development of customer-facing and internal analytics capabilities, translating strategic priorities into a focused product roadmap and delivering high-impact insights for clinicians and health leaders.

You will collaborate with Technology, Informatics, and Analytics teams, applying generative AI thoughtfully to accelerate delivery while ensuring

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in product management, analytics, informatics, or healthcare technology.
Proven success delivering data or analytics products in clinical or health system contexts.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, SNOMED, LOINC) and analytics tools/platforms.
Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience applying AI/ML or GAI in a product or analytics context is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in informatics, public health, or data science preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Analytics Product Roadmap: own vision, prioritization, and delivery across Clinical Solutions products.
Drive Customer-Centric Insight Generation for health systems and clinicians.
Translate Strategy into Execution with collaboration across Technology, Informatics, and Analytics teams.
Leverage Generative AI to accelerate insight delivery and improve usability of analytics tools.
Deliver Measurable Value by defining and tracking OKRs and KPIs.
