For our client, we are seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant (Power BI) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead client-facing analytics engagements with a strong focus on Power BI solution delivery, governance, and adoption. You will partner closely with stakeholders to shape technical direction, set quality standards, and translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions. The position also includes mentoring consultants and guiding delivery execution across planning, estimates, staffing, and budgets.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead Power BI engagements from planning through adoption and optimize client delivery
• Establish the technical approach and quality standards for scalable solutions
• Design and develop intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards
• Connect Power BI to a variety of analytical data structures
• Facilitate client discovery sessions to clarify requirements and drive decisions
• Advise clients on Power BI governance and best practices
• Mentor consultants and set high standards for quality and maintainability

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or visualization solutions in an enterprise setting
• 3+ years in external consulting with ownership of client-facing analytics projects
• Proven track record leading complex delivery teams or workstreams
• Experience in delivery planning, estimates, staffing, and budgets
• Strong technical skills in Power BI, including DAX, SQL, and data modeling
