The United Illuminating Company in Connecticut seeks a seasoned Billing Systems Expert to lead SAP-based billing initiatives and define comprehensive business requirements. You will coordinate with IT, Billing, and regulatory teams to implement changes and ensure accurate configuration models.
Responsibilities include creating testing strategies, mentoring junior staff, and communicating effectively with internal customers and vendors while promoting best practices in billing processes.
The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $116,640 to $145,800

Provide research and analysis of billing area requests to define and document business requirements, develop solutions employing technology and to develop and implement billing configuration models. Assist in assessing the impact of proposed solutions or enhancements to other systems or business areas. Use project management abilities to coordinate development, testing, and implementation of system changes with IT (e.g. defining requirements, developing work plans, coordinating testing and cut-over to production, and training end users). Use effective interpersonal and communication skills to liaison between Customer Service and IT staff and/or system vendors.
