Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, copilot, and data products. The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable security architectures, defining protection patterns, and ensuring alignment with enterprise‑level security objectives.

You will guide technology selection, drive proof‑of‑value efforts, and collaborate with Fabric, engineering, product, and data teams to embed AI protection into delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, app development, data platforms, or AI platforms.
• 7+ years architecture experience, esp. enterprise-scale platforms.
• 5+ years AI-related development including security architecture and data security.
• Experience leading architecture strategy and implementation planning for complex security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents and GenAI applications.
• Drive strategy and security design decisions for AI platforms independently.
• Define standards across risk management and security certification to ensure consistency.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity and data protection controls for AI platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling and risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI protection into delivery processes.
• Present strategy, risks and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
