Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security within the Security Technology Services group. You will lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, Copilots, and data products, translating business needs into scalable security patterns and ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.

You will drive threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews, partnering with engineering, product, and data teams to embed protection into delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, application development, data platforms, AI platforms, or related tech domains.
• 7+ years architecture experience on enterprise-scale platforms.
• 5+ years of AI-related development including security architecture, data security, or AI protection design.
• Experience leading architecture strategy, proof-of-value efforts, and technology evaluations for complex security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilots, automation platforms, GenAI applications, and data products.
• Serve as senior architecture lead for AI protection, guiding strategy and security design decisions.
• Establish and govern application standards across risk, governance, and cybersecurity platforms.
• Define UX/UI, workflow, and integration standards across strategic platforms for secure interoperability.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity, data protection, monitoring, and guardrail controls for AI platforms.
