Job summary

EY seeks a Principal Architect for AI & Security to lead AI protection architecture across AI agents, copilot platforms, and data products. You will translate business needs into scalable security designs and align them with EY’s enterprise architecture and Zero Trust principles.

You’ll partner with EY Fabric, engineering, product, and data teams to embed AI protection into delivery, develop standards, and present strategy to senior leadership. This role offers a hybrid US work model.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, AI, Data Tech, or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, app development, data platforms, AI platforms or related domains.
• 7+ years of architecture experience, including enterprise-scale platforms.
• 5+ years in AI-related development with security architecture, data protection, or secure AI design.
• Experience leading architecture strategy, proof-of-value efforts, technology evaluations, or implementation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilot, MCP, A2A, copilots, automation platforms, GenAI applications, and data-driven AI products.
• Act as senior architecture lead for AI protection, driving strategy and security design decisions.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity, data protection, monitoring, and guardrail controls for AI platforms and ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, control mapping, and risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with EY Fabric, engineering, product, data and platform teams to embed AI protection into delivery processes.
• Develop AI protection standards, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
